Marin Fisher

Marin, a graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology-Pre Physical Therapy, has lived an active life filled with sports and performing arts. At the young age of 4 years she began dancing and still dances today. She has extensively studied tap, jazz, contemporary, and classical ballet. She has also traveled and performed with Diablo Ballet Company, Company C Contemporary Ballet, and Moving Arts Dance. At age 12 her love and interest in Pilates developed while taking individual instruction at the Center for Sports Medicine in Walnut Creek, Ca. Marin is passionate about all sports and was an avid runner in high school, competing in Cross Country and in Track as a hurdler in the 200 and 400 meters. When she’s not dancing, teaching Pilates, or working out at the gym, you can find her running with her dog or watching ice hockey games. After graduating from SDSU Marin decided that she would like to share her love of Pilates and knowledge of the human body with others and completed instructor training with BASI Pilates. Studying Kinesiology has allowed her many hands on experiences and has given her knowledge on treating and rehabilitating sports injuries.
